TMI TV SHOW. FIRST CASTING.

I'm a big fan of the Mortal Instruments series. Not necessary of all the plot lines (which can be sometimes just downright ridiculous) but of the characters. Cassandra Clare makes such lovable, laughable, adorable, snarky, characters. I just love her characters, (particularly one certain Alexander Gideon Lightwood, but more on that later) They could be clowns in Paris for all I care, as long as they're still their own personalities. So, when I first heard about the movie, I wasn't too excited about it because it was before I had picked up the series. Then, I eventually did, but I heard the movie was horrible, so I put off watching it for a good year. While waiting for COHF, I had a weak moment and I caved and watched it. Not exactly what I expected... BUT. Now they're making a TV and personally I'm excited about it. I can understand why one would be reluctant considering the movie being a flop, BUT THIS IS A TV SHOW GUYS. IT'S BOUND TO BE BETTER. They can really spread out the whole series and get in all of those little details. We're going to get all of those secondary characters in, and Cassandra Clare confirmed Malec in the TV show (which already makes it 100% better). So a few days ago, they released the first of casting news. Our new Jace has been announced to the world. And it's... *drum roll*

Different Angles

DOMINIC SHERWOOD!

Initial Thoughts: Woah.. He's quite something. Dare I say I think he's hotter than Jamie

After Processing:

I think that Dominic could do a great job being Jace, he's already got the looking good part down. He has a good strong build like Jace, (Jamie was way too skinny) What I found weird from the movie is how they got a really skinny actor to play Jace who is suppose to be buff and a really buff actor to play Alec who is suppose to lanky. Luckily, this time they got it right.  I think that all Dominic  would get those dark locks dyed, put on some colored contacts and BOOM. JACE LOOK. Though, I do really like his eyes, especially that cool half blue half brown one. That's just awesome, I haven't watched any films he has been in previously. All I know is that he's was in Vampire Academy and in the Taylor Swift video (neither of those have I watched whoops.) I do have hopes he is a great actor. My only complaint is with the whole age thing. I remember with the movie, the fans complained that the actors were too old to be playing 16-18 year olds and that was true. Dominic Sherwood here is 25, that's only one year younger than Jamie... So that puts some doubts in my head about the rest of the casting. I really hope they don't end up all looking too old again, Come on, we need some youngsters. Overall, pretty happy with this casting, I think he could potentially be a really good Jace. I have high hopes for this guy and I'm really hoping not to be disappointed.

Castings I'm looking forward to most: ALEXANDER, Isabelle, MAGNUS, Simon. Raphael.

First Timer. Newbie. Fresh Meat.

Um.. Hello there people of the world. To any of you people who might be seeing this (hopefully), I've come to a realization that I am just too obsessed with books to not start a blog about them. Seriously, talking about books to my friends isn't enough. ( I love them but they don't completely understand the book struggle) I've been tossing and turning on the idea for quite a while and I've finally decided I'm going to do this. Gathered up the nerve to put myself out there (or maybe it's the lack of sleep talking). Anyways, here on my blog (ohhh my blog!) it will contain mostly book reviews, tags? book adventures? who knows? I realize that not many people are going to see this, heck I may as well be writing to myself. What's the harm in trying right?
